In December 2008 Fora chain, part of Fozzy Group retail business, increased by 2 stores. Both outlets are located in Kyiv – 29, Lepse Boulevard and 41-B, Alma-Atynska street. In total Fora convenience store chain increased by 16 outlets to 126. Achieved results are in-line with the Group’s planes announced for 2008.
Shopping space of Fora at 29, Lepse blvd. is 286 square meters, at 41-B, Alma-Atynska st. – 188 square meters. Product range in both stores includes fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, and the most popular FMCG SKUs.
The first Fora store was opened in December, 2002. In 2003 33 more stores were opened under Fora brand (30 thanks to Dnepryanka chain acquisition). In 2007 Fora chain expanded after acquisition of Bumi markets. In 2008 16 stores were opened, and five of them in new modern design. Future plans suppose that all the stores under Fora brand will be re-designed in the new format, which is more attractive to consumers.
